Introduction
To help our customers better understand our products, we have developed a knowledge base designed to provide on-demand support, answer common questions, troubleshoot typical problems, and explain how to successfully use a product or service.
While this knowledge base is constantly evolving and the number of articles is growing, there are still some topics that need to be covered.
This article explains how to search for the content you need or request a new article on the topic you're interested in.
Step-by-step guides
Search via instant search in the Support Center
To use an instant search, follow these steps:
1. On the Support Center Web page, start typing in the search box - article titles that match your search will appear. Continue typing to narrow the list of articles.
Tip: Use the following links to access support centers: Location Risk Intelligence and Compliance Web
Note: Instant search may have some limitations, namely:
- Uses a partial word search.
- Includes article titles only, not content or labels.
- Does not include community posts.
2. Click on any matching item title to go directly to the item.
Tip: If there are no articles that match your criteria, press Enter to use the native Support Center search.
Search via native search in the Support Center
To use a native search,
1. Type a specific word of phrase in the Search box
2. Press Enter. A list of items will be displayed on the search results page.
For example, if you search for the phrase how to, the first results will include both instant and native search, as shown in the screenshot.
Note: Native search has broader functionality:
- Uses full word search, not partial word search
- Includes titles, body text, and labels
Request a knowledge article
If the content you are looking for is missing, request a new article. Do the following:
1. On the Support Center web page, click the Submit a request button next to your account. A new support request form will open.
2. In the Support Request form:
a. Fill in the required information and enter your request in the message box
b. Click the Send button to send your request
Note: Make sure that you fill in the Support Request form of the relevant product (Location Risk Intelligence Platform or Data Risk Intelligence Platform).
Note: If the topic you are looking for has already been covered, the support team will provide you with a link to an appropriate knowledge article.
Tip: The request form can be used to request a new Knowledge Article or to report a problem. You can also contact us by email at: ComplianceWebHelpdesk@munichre.com.
